Elsa Beskow was a Swedish children’s book author and illustrator, living from 1874-1953. Some have called her the ‘Beatrix Potter’ of Scandinavia. Many of Elsa Beskow’s books have become Waldorf classics, such as Peter in Blueberry Land, and Children of the Forest.
